Job Description

RockCorps is launching in Brazil in partnership with a major global brand. Each year, the program will engage 40,000 volunteers who will each give 4 hours of their time across 300 community volunteer projects, delivered with up to 200 partner NGOs (160,000 hours of volunteering in total) across 7 cities: São Paulo (the hub city, hosting the vast majority of projects) plus Belém, Salvador, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Volunteer projects will run from November 2026 to April 2027.

These community projects culminate in a celebration concert in São Paulo in April 2027, featuring international and Brazilian artists. The only people attending will be those that did the volunteer work — RockCorps' "Give, Get Given" model.

RockCorps is now recruiting its core management team for this project.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Logistics Manager is responsible for all aspects of the logistics required to deliver the program's community volunteer projects, working in close collaboration with the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

● Ensure the smooth logistical delivery of all of the RockCorps Brazil program's community volunteer projects (300 in total), across São Paulo (the hub city) and the program's other 6 cities: Belém, Salvador, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte

● Support the search for suitable warehouse space with the Head of Operations and the HR & Admin Manager, then lead all warehouse operations: stock management and procurement

● Recruit, train, manage and evaluate a Deputy Logistics Manager and a team of 6 Logistics Coordinators

● Be proactive and creative in proposing and delivering projects that are as fun for volunteers as they are useful for partner NGOs

● Make recommendations on equipment, factoring in safety, budget and timeline constraints

● Identify and negotiate with relevant suppliers

● Organize transport of all necessary equipment to project sites

● Work closely with the Projects Manager to ensure all projects run safely and in the best possible material conditions, for both the project team and volunteers

● Manage, in coordination with the Head of Operations and the Projects Manager, the budgets required to deliver the projects (equipment, logistics, activities, etc.)

Requirements

● 8 to 10 years' confirmed experience in event/production logistics management (including equipment, signage, transport…), on complex projects requiring coordination across multiple sites

● Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an event environment, and able to put processes in place to ensure compliance

● Methodical, with strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills

● Comfortable with budget management, including in a financially constrained environment

● Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine team spirit

● Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to a constantly

evolving environment

● Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure

● Flexible, as there will be a degree of travelling within Brazil

● Have a love of music and sense of humor

● Creative and hands-on, with a real talent for practical problem-solving — a real plus

● Fluent Portuguese is required; strong English skills are highly valued, though not mandatory

● Must be based in São Paulo for the duration of the project
